What do I need to apply as a subcontractor?
A valid trade license (if applicable), general liability insurance certificate, workers' compensation (or sole proprietor exemption), references from previous commercial work, and a completed W-9.
How long does the application process take?
We review applications within 48 hours. If your qualifications match our needs, we schedule a brief meeting and can have you on a project within 1-2 weeks.
Do I need commercial experience?
Commercial or multifamily experience is strongly preferred. Multifamily renovation has specific requirements around occupied buildings, scheduling, and quality standards that differ from residential work.
What insurance requirements do you have?
We require current general liability insurance ($1M minimum) and workers' compensation coverage. Sole proprietors may qualify with a Texas sole proprietor exemption certificate.
Is there a probationary period?
We evaluate performance on your first project. Quality work, reliability, and professionalism earn you ongoing assignments. Most subcontractors who complete one project become long-term partners.
